Hi,
I just purchased the hp cm1015 multi-function laserprinter, based upon the
'perfectly' rating in the linuxprinting database here:
http://openprinting.org/show_printer.cgi?recnum=HP-Color_LaserJet_CM1015
Upon further review of this mailing list, it appears that scanning is not
supported on this device for linux. Is that correct?
Is there a comparable mfp laser/scanner device that is supported on linux?
Also, did I misunderstand the printing database? I read the following about
the 'perfectly' rating from here:
http://www.linux-foundation.org/en/OpenPrinting/Database/DatabaseIntro
Perfectly Perfect printers work perfectly; everything the printer can do is
working also under Linux and Unix. For multifunction devices, this must
include scanning/faxing/etc.Thanks!
